Reviews and Ratings
This hotel offers clean accommodations and friendly staff, but the experience was marred by issues with room service and noise from the atrium. While the breakfast buffet was decent, the overall value was affected by the lack of nearby dining options and insufficient soundproofing. If you're planning to stay for business or prefer a quiet environment, you might want to consider other options.
The DoubleTree in Austin is a great choice if you're on a business trip, with excellent staff and amenities. I appreciated the facilities and comfortable rooms, but my experience with room service was far from ideal. Overall, it's a good option with a few downsides, especially if you rely on in-room dining.
We had a great stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday! The accommodations were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The location was excellent, right near Lake Austin and several dining and shopping options. However, I did have a small hiccup with the air conditioning that took a bit too long to get resolved, which was frustrating. Overall, it was a solid experience for families, couples, or business travelers.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff was professional and welcoming, and I appreciated the free parking available. The room was neat and clean, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired with clear water damage and slow drainage. While the location was convenient and quiet, the issues in the bathroom dampened my overall impression.
I had a decent stay at this hotel, which was clean and comfortable, but it's a bit of a trek to get to the main downtown area. The unique Art Deco design in the rooms was a nice touch. However, I found the dining options limited, especially since the restaurant hours weren't very accommodating. Overall, it's a good price for what you get, but there are some drawbacks I didn't expect.
